Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you'll be met by your safari guide. Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for overnight. Briefing about your safari and time to relax. Optional city tour of Kampala including the Uganda Museum and local markets. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning departure from Kampala/Entebbe with scenic drive through the countryside to Kibale Forest National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Afternoon nature walk in the forest to spot various primate species including red colobus monkeys, L'Hoest's monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Evening briefing about tomorrow's chimpanzee tracking. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
